Grocery Shopping Preperation
To prep for the New Year full of resolutions, wedding planning, and hectic schedules, both Travis and I decided we need to be healthier. Believe me, easy lunch and dinners, going the cheap route and eating out multiple times per week was great...but it caught up to both of us. We are no where near where we would like to be health wise. I have ignored my gluten intolerance for the past 2 years, (its been a rough road) and Travis eats like hes still a bachelor (hot pockets, beer and top ramen are his staples).
In conjunction with doing my sister's Crave Clean program, we are also doing the Whole30. This means no Gluten, Dairy, Soy, Grains, Alcohol or Caffeine for 30 days. This is to help detox our bodies, get us back on track and eat clean.
I will be blogging about both programs, what we like and dislike, and challenges we face. This is also about accountability, and hopefully inspiring others to get healthy!
Blogs will go out every Sunday, Wednesday & Friday and will go into detail about progress, recipes we loved (or hated), how expensive groceries are and where to find the best deals.
