Influencer Product Reviews
We all see it everyday on our feeds, all the products that Instagram and Facebook have to offer. We follow our favorite people, we relate to their lives, they love and share things, and we buy the things we are interested because of them.
BUT
Are all the things shared, ACTUALLY worth it?
I find myself buying a lot of the things some of the bigger mom-fluencers push, because I feel I relate to them. I enjoy following them, and their lives, and sometimes feel so inclined or like something so I find it through their LTK it page.
While I have been relatively happy with most of my purchases, there are some that definitely leave me scratching my head.
While I would love to review every single thing I have bought via influencers, we just probably don’t have enough time for that….sadly lol.
So here are the top ones, that I feel most people would or have purchased and my HONEST review of all of them.
Riddle Oil - 0/5
Not worth the larger ticket purchase. While it smells, somewhat good, it doesn’t hold the scent at all. To be honest I thought I would love this and thought it was a great option instead of perfume, but my husband thinks it smells like a metal roller ball and I can’t say I disagree….
The Forever21 FP Dupe Jacket - 5/5
Have to admit, I liked the first one I bought so much that I bought it again in another color, and I still am waiting for the blue denim color to come back so I can snag that one too. It’s cute, it’s comfortable and it fits oversized which I love.
The Louis Vuitton Bag Dupe - 5/5
I can’t afford a real LV bag, my children also would rip a nice bag apart (its like they seek out nice things to destroy them) therefor this was a great option for me. The bag is actually very nice looking, looks just like the real LV but without the logo. I loved that this also came with a small matching clutch, and thats what I use every single day!
Equilibria - 5/5
Loved this so much that I wrote an entire blog about it, and have my very own discount code!

Aerie Lulu Dupes - 3/5
I loved these at first, but after a few washes you really start to see why these are less expensive. They started to wear down, become see through and eventually I busted a hole in them. Good for home wear, not great for the long term. My actual lulu’s are going strong after many of washes and battle scars.
Always Pan & Pot - 5/5
I had been eyeing this pan/pot for about a year, just couldn’t bring myself to spend $150 on a single pan. Then they went on sale for $99 and I jumped on board, my husband and I loved it so much we turned around and bought the pot, the knives and the dumpling steamer. We’ve been using everything for about 2 months now and I can tell you, they really do not let anything stick to them and they cook everything perfectly.
Kitchen Playset for kids - 5/5
Another thing I had been eyeing for awhile, I had several in my cart including a very expensive crate&barrel or pottery barn one. Once I saw this one for like a third of the price, I jumped on it and it has been the source of entertainment for both my kiddos since we put it together. Play food is not included, and also you will forever be picking up play food if you so choose to have any sort of play kitchen - god speed.
Tula - 2/5
I wanted to love this, so bad. I just don’t. I bought one of the kits, face wash, serum, and under eye thing. The facewash leaves my skin incredibly dry and doesn’t take off my mascara, the serum I did use all of because my face was so dry, and the eye stick I still use but mostly because I just like that it gives a cooling effect but thats all it does. Not worth the $$ in my opinion, I decided to just spend the real money on a dermatologist recommended brand that will actually do something for me.
Styled Collection Blanket - 5/5
Loved this so much I posted about it on the gram. I bought 4 of the ‘barefoot dream’ dupe blankets. While I am not a huge fan of leopard print (the 4 I bought) they are so comfortable that I don’t even care whats on it. They did just launch a collection with @OurFauxFarmhouse and that print is so much cuter - I may just buy more lol.
Best of luck on your influencer shopping, I will continue to review things as I purchase (which is too much).
