2022 the year of YOU

I’ve spent the last 5 years trying to manage a new addition to my adult life,
generalized anxiety and panic disorder.
SO FUN RIGHT?!
In the last 5 years, I got engaged, got married, bought and sold 3 homes, and had 2 children. It’s been eventful, did I also mention that convinced my husband to move across the country from Washington to Tennessee?
I’ve tried it all, medication, therapy, meditation, etc. and it wasn’t until this last summer that I finally found my right path that has calmed my panic attacks completely and quieted my anxiety.

I know what you are thinking, UGH, a self help book?!
Its not like that at all. Essentially Stoicism has been around for… a very very long time. There are 4 pillars or beliefs to stoicism wisdom, justice, courage, and moderation.
This book, takes a daily dose, short script approach which I love, because I really do not have time to sit down and read chapters of books, but I do have 10-15 minutes each day to read an excerpt, reflect on it and move along.

Essentially it outlines every single day of the year a short meditation or reading based on the 4 pillars, for example;

It is small every day changes in the battle against our own minds, because a pill or CBD alone will not change it. This book helps shift you into clearer more factual based thinking, controlling what is inside your control and letting go and understanding that there are certain things completely outside of our control that we should not be allowing into our headspace.
